	New Zealand Brushtail Possum Possum Pam was born in the early 1980's in response to the growing demand for natural fur based products. The New Zealand Possum lends itself idealy to this demand as it is an introduced species and does terrible damage to the delicate New Zealand flora and fauna. By buying a Possum product you can help save New Zealands native forests and birds including the Kiwi which is under serious threat from possum predation.
	New Zealand Sheepskin Products Sheepskinz was set up by us in 1997 as a craft market stall in Christchurch and has grown to a point that in 2002 we were able to purchase the Possum Pam business off the very creative Pam and Dave McKinstry. Our focus has now shifted to a more conservation based outlook and we feel it is very important continue the good work initiated by the McKinstrys' and also to keep alive the important sheepskin industry here in New Zealand
